Explore Our Yoga Styles

Balance Signature Class.

Just as its name, our Balance class has been created to bring that much needed balance into your life. We start with breathwork to connect the body and mind, followed by strong foundational postures that will help to deepen your practice and build a sweat (yay)! The second half of the class is where the sweetness begins…the soft and slow to calm the mind and develop flexibility and mobility. We close the class with meditation that will invite harmony between the mind, body and soul. The perfect BALANCE.

Vinyasa

“Vinyasa” translated from Sanskrit means ‘to place in a special way’. In this case, place our bodies in a special way through asanas (yoga postures) as we move from one posture to the next, connecting movement and breath, creating a steady internal rhythm for the practice. Our Flow classes are designed to cultivate heat in the body with creative sequences and a strong focus on the power of breath awareness. Expect Pranayama (breathing techniques) and Meditation practices included.

Power Flow

Balance power flow classes are a contemporary spin on traditional asanas (yoga postures) designed to build resilience and mental strength among our practitioners. The classes will be made up of slightly faster movements and be more physically demanding while maintaining focus on key yoga pillars like breath and control. The combination of these elements teaches our students to tap into and harness confidence & strength from within themselves.

Yin & Meditation

Yin yoga is a relaxing style intended to be healing and nurturing for the body. Focused on applying moderate stress to the connective tissues – tendons, fascia, ligaments – by holding poses for a longer period of time, with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints, relieve stress and restore the nervous system. Expect some time meditating, experiencing a state of stillness that flows with ease, leaving you feeling at peace with yourself and the world around you.

Gentle Flow

A slow-paced practice designed to build internal heat slowly and gently while connecting movement to the breath. Meditation and Pranayama (breath work) techniques are taught to promote relaxation in the body and mind.

Vin Yin

In Vin Yin we combine two styles of Yoga into one practice. beginning with a more dynamic Yang practice to concentrate the mind, finding that breath-movement synchronicity and expelling any excess prana/energy in the body. Once the body is in a state of relaxation we open into a much more passive Yin practice with long holds to detoxify the body and place it into a restoritive condition allowing the mind to quiet itself.

Recovery Yoga

A modern adaption for our high impact lifestyles. This flow aligns slow dynamic movements with some longer yoga holds and focuses on key trigger points. The practise is designed to enhance mobility, adjust posture and free up any restrictions. Mobility and recovery sessions are designed for all of those with active lifestyles, professions or hobbies whether you are surfer, weight lifter, nurse or beach wanderer our mobility and recovery class is for you.
